So instagram, Facebook and twitter are all a flutter over ‘Microbladed brows’.
I just want to write a quick post to explain the difference as everybody has jumped on the microblade bandwagon and seem to think its the only correct way to do brows.
A digital device / digital microblading / tattoo machine is the most commenly used device in this industry, there are many different machines but they all work by using a digital power machine and needle which collects the pigment and implants it into the skin.
A Microblade / Microblading is as it suggests, a Micro Blade, basically a hand tool where a group of needles sit together and the technician uses it cut the skin and push the pigment in.
BOTH WAYS ARE PERMANENT!!!, I hear all the time ‘ I only want microblading as its not permanent’, this so ISNT the case….. both types are a form of tattooing and although they will fade with both devices this varies from person to person and skintype.
I personally only use the technique right for me and my clients and the digital machine is best at creating many different bespoke brows for so many different skin types, i also find the results last longer.
I am certainly not rubbishing microblading as know many people who are amazing at it, however there are many people that offer it as a cheaper / quicker service even though this should not be the case.
If anyone wants their brows done, you need to have trust in your technician that she / he knows what they are doing, not questioning the method. We all want whats best for you and your brows and have many different ways to work on them… #Trustyourtech #thatswhatwegotoEYEBROWschoolfor
Hope that clarifies things a bit……
